The Growing Self office is located in the historic Zang Manison at 709 Clarkson Street. It is on the Northwest corner of 7th and Clarkson Streets in the Capitol Hill area of Denver.
Consultation
Choosing the right Relationship Counselor for you is an important personal decision. It's okay to "interview" a prospective therapist to make sure you will be comfortable working with that person. Lisa Huybrechts, M.A., N.C.C. offers a free consultation to give you the opportunity to decide if it feels like a good match to work with her. If it doesn't feel right ask for a referral.
Lisa values having an open and collaborative relationship with clients, so feel free to ask questions during your consultation conversation. She will also ask you some questions to get a general sense of what is going on with you.
About Lisa
Lisa Huybrechts, M.A. is a highly trained Psychotherapist with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. She has extensive experience and training in Couples and Family Therapy. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Colorado Psychological Association, and the National Board of Certified Counselors, and as such is ethically bound to maintain stringent standards including best practice policies and strict confidentiality.
Relationship Counseling Sessions
Regular sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Couples may choose to schedule an 100 minute session, which will be billed at the pro-rated hourly fee. Morning, afternoon, and evening appointment times are available.
Rates
Lisa's regular rates are $95 per session. Because her focus is on wellness rather than disease, she does not work with insurance companies. For that reason, she also accepts sliding scale clients. Sliding scale rates vary between $60 and $95 depending on your income and the size of your family. Credit cards are accepted.
Clientele
Lisa works with Married Couples, Committed Couples, Same-Sex Couples, and Pre-Marital Couples. She respects people of all genders, races, ethnicities, cultures, sexual orientations and spiritual practices.
